WE ARE OPERATING FROM OUR
GREEN TIMETABLE

Bikes, Pushchairs & Buggies

Owing to limited space in our Victorian and Edwardian carriages we ask that all cycles, pushchairs and buggies are transported in our guards van, thus giving you more space in the train compartments. Our friendly and helpful platform staff will always help you load and unload, so allowing you to relax in comfort.

The Isle of Wight Steam Railway is a great way for cyclists to explore the tracks and lanes around Ashey, Havenstreet and Wootton.

With mainland access via Ryde and Smallbrook Junction, take your bike to Wootton which affords direct access to cycle routes to Cowes, Ryde and the north east of the Island.  A request stop at Ashey halt affords access to routes around the east of the Island and around Brading and Sandown.

Wightlink, Island Line and the Steam Railway will carry your bicycle for free so you can enjoy over 200 miles of cycle routes on the Island across a stunning and varied landscape.
