In recent times it has become increasingly obvious that the Railway needs to increase its fund raising activities. An area that is particularly in need of a boost is that of the improvement of facilities for our volunteer workforce. As a new fund-raising initiative the IWSR 200 CLUB has been launched and the first draw has just taken place. The initial target of 200 entries for the quarterly draw has already been exceeded, an excellent start. Entry to the club costs £20.00 per annum with the prizes each quarter being £300 for the winner, £150 for second place and £50 for the third ticket drawn. The draw is open to all registered members of the Railway, entry details can be obtained form the club organiser, Jackie Hopkins.
