Once again the atmosphere of the Front Line Branch Line was recreated at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway over the weekend of 2nd-3rd July. This was the third year of what is becoming a very popular and well attended event, The display of military vehicles once again increased in number, Havenstreet station was overflowing with re-enactors in 1940's military and civilian clothing. Numerous activities took place around the station area including 1940's dance demonstations and a wartime fashions parade. Dont worry if you missed this years event - it will be back next year!
