'Santa Specials' 2006
The Isle of Wight Steam Railway's 2006 programme of Santa Special services drew to a close on Christmas Eve. All of this years Santa trains were hauled by recently restored Hunslet 'Austerity' No.WD192 'Waggoner' .The packed trains were made up of the railways unique LB&SCR, SE&CR and LC&DR carriages and took our passengers on a round trip of the line which was followed by a visit to Santa in his Havenstreet 'Winter Wonderland' grotto.
