'Works Outing' Photo Report Part Two

More pictures of The Isle of Wight Steam Railway's 2006 Spring Gala which took place over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend with a special Gala timetable operating over three days, 27th, 28th and 29th May. The event was entitled the 'Works Outing Weekend' and gave the opportunity to see all of the Railway's operational fleet of historic locomotives, carriages and wagons in service. All pictures were taken by Anthony Hobbs on Sunday, 28th May 2006.

The following sequence of four pictures shows W38 'Ajax' And WD192 'Waggoner' preparing a train for departure at Smallbrook Junction. (Above) 'Ajax' waits for 'Waggoner' in the loop.

The railway's diesel locomotives were also in action - Class 03 D2059 is seen here at Wootton.
At the end of the day 'Invincible' and 'Freshwater' are on shed at Havenstreet with Army Barclay diesel No.235 in the background.
