Inspired music and dance … Silk stockings and military machines … Men in uniforms and spivs with goods for sale – pure nostalgia! Jitterbug your way back to the 1940s, experience travel by steam train, and relive the hustle and bustle of a country railway station where war time activities collide with every day rural life.

See the farmyard threshing machine working in the shadow of a magnificent WW2 fighter plane, while soldiers prepare for active service. Enjoy songs of the era with female trio ‘The Spitfires’ and meet the ‘French Resistance’ as they take over part of Havenstreet Station!

Relive our ‘Finest Hour’ - Experience the exciting and most dangerous 1940s.

The event is staged mainly in and around Havenstreet Station and the event begins at 10am each day and runs through until 5pm. The first train each day is at 10.35am.
