The Isle of Wight Steam Railway Wine Festival has a new format for 2011.

This year, explore the diversity of wines from Spain and the Spanish speaking countries of South America.

Your Wine Festival tasting ticket allows you to taste over 20 different wines and learn about them with the knowledgeable team from the Island Wine Company. All wines are available for purchase, plus there is a selection of dishes available in our Refreshment Rooms to complement your wine.

So, whether you have a ‘nose’ for fine wines or just enjoy quaffing a favoured tipple, our wine festival will be a treat for your olfactory receptors and taste-buds!

The railway's team of wine connoisseurs were on hand to lead visitors through the wine tasting experience - Phill Upshall, IWSR General Manger Peter Vail and Sommelier Derek Bishop.Rosemary Vineyard provided a chance to sample their fine locally produced wines and fruit juices.
