Situated in the heart of the Havenstreet Station site is the Railway shop. Young or old, railway enthusiast or not, that special gift or souvenir can be found in the vast range of items on sale in our shop.

Our younger visitors will be delighted by our extensive display of affordable items and the all important vast range of ‘Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends’ toys, books, games and playsets.

Having experienced our Railway, there is an opportunity to learn more about the fascinating history of Island railways, with many books and DVDs on sale which tell the story of the people, the rolling stock, the stations, the atmosphere and the importance of the Island’s once-extensive railway network.

For the railway modeller, the shop now offers an extensive range of products from the leading manufacturers.

Whether a railway tie, a pot of jam, a souvenir mug, notebook or a pack of Christmas cards, it will not be difficult to find a souvenir or special gift to take home and share with family and friends.

And who can resist a rummage through old books? Across the line in our waiting room is our ever growing used-book shop. This is the place to find a rare old book and a bargain covering a wide range of subjects and interests – including railways! The best part is this all raises vital funds for the Railway. (Please note that during a small number of Special Events, the used bookshop may not be open).
