Havenstreet Station is near the heart of rural Isle of Wight and our Railway runs through part of the Island's unspoilt countryside ... And you can get even closer to nature in our Woodland Walk!
During your visit, take a stroll away from the bustling platform and explore the Woodland Walk which is accessed via a path leading from the Children's Play Area. The woodland has grown up over the past forty years and part of it is now protected as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Various paths wind their way through the woods, eventually leading down to a stream, which further to the south runs through a culvert under the railway line (Note - there is no access to this). Bridges cross the stream and a path takes you into a section of woodland owned by our neighbours, The People's Trust for Endangered Species.
Whatever the season, the Woodland Walk is a lovely addition to your visit.
