Admire the workmanship, enjoy the memories and expect to be surprised!
Featuring an array of railway and road vehicles of all shapes and sizes. If you love cars and heritage transport this event is for you!
Every vehicle on display is someone’s pride and joy … And this is also your chance to contribute to the Festival!
Whether your car, bicycle, road engine, truck, wagon or old charabanc is a rare vintage marque, a smartly polished classic, or just an old banger, if it’s your pride and joy then come and display it at Havenstreet Station for the day! (All vehicles must be in the events field by 10am and remain there until 4pm).
There will be a full, two-train service of steam trains reminiscent of Island transport in days gone by, and there’s a chance to explore our Train Story Discovery Centre and learn the story of our Victorian and Edwardian railway vehicles and their lasting impact on all our lives!
To complete the weekend there will be live music from Jukebox Jazz and "Lane Stars" Dance School will be performing at 12.15pm. Flying displays from Haven Falconry. Plus there’s plenty to keep the youngsters occupied with a bouncy slide and the children’s play areas. There’s also a full range of refreshments, stalls and displays.
We are delighted to be joined by "Wight Model Railway Group" who will have several layouts on display in our main building next to the Second Hand Book shop. Details of the layouts can be found

If you would like your vehicle to be part of the show or if you are interested in having a stall please contact Liz Tagart at liz.tagart@iwsteamrailway.co.uk
